Qualifying Products

Heating your home is the single largest source of energy consumption. Water heating follows close behind, representing about 14 percent of your annual household energy consumption.

The older your equipment, the less energy efficient, and therefore the more energy required to make your home comfortable. You can reduce heating-related expenses and ensure a consistent, comfortable indoor environment by replacing older, less energy efficient heating equipment with ENERGY STAR-qualified models.

Important Update
The Pennsylvania Home Heating Equipment Rebate Program is now launching its second phase of incentive offerings. Effective August 2, 2010, energy efficiency rebates for program-qualifying ENERGY STAR products will increase to the rebate amounts listed below.
There is no change to customer eligibility, efficiency requirements, or the participation process. All qualifying products purchased on or after April 21, 2010 will receive rebates at the higher Phase II amounts.
If you already qualified and received a rebate prior to August 2, 2010, you will receive a separate check for the difference between the original and Phase II rebate amounts.
Read more about the rebate change by consulting the Program FAQs.

All Rebate Funds Have Been Allocated

At this time all rebate funds have been allocated for rebate reservations. The program no longer accepts new reservation requests.

If you have not obtained a confirmed rebare reservation but would like to add you name to a waitlist queue should funds become available, please visit the Get Your Rebate page for more information.
